Gelazzi uses only the finest ingredients
to handcraft some of the best gelato, sorbetto,
and Italian ice creams you’ll ever taste

Using family recipes established in the 1950s, Gelazzi Gelato is made with simple, natural ingredients like fresh milk, fruits, nuts, and real sugar. We’ve trekked around Italy, Pan-Europe, and the U.S. looking for the most delicious and wholesome ingredients we can find. We use only the ‘best of the best’ ingredients to make our family’s recipes.

We’ve brought in caramel and Dulcé de leche from Avellino, near Napoli. Our fresh mango paste comes in from India via Louisiana. We’ve brought in thousands of pounds of rich chocolate from Torino, Milano, Perugia and Verona. California grapes created one of our best ever grape gelato recipes. Fresh strawberry paste from Novara in the northern Piedmont region and unripened lemons from Aversa in the Campania region have arrived in our summer shipments. We’ve used fresh winter mint from Bari and Andria in the southeast part of Italy. Our pure coffee pastes have been sourced from Rimini, on the Adriatic, and we receive some of the best gelato extracts in the world from Asti, north of Genova. We use pistachio puro that hails from Sicily, as well as pine nuts and figs imported from Calabria. Only the finest chocolates, nuts, and fruits are used to make Gelazzi gelato.

At Gelazzi we use the “best of the best” authentic ingredients from virtually all regions of Italy, as well as Pan Europe, the United States, and of course the Great State of Texas.
