Anytime we can get our hands on fresh, ripe, and juicy cherries, we make gelato. There are all kinds of different cherries from dark cherries and maraschino, to Rainier and tart Montmorency, but this batch is made with simple sweet red cherries. We got them at Canino’s Produce Market and they were just right to make this amazing ciliegia gelato. Although we bought 12lbs, after pitting them we only could make a couple of pans. If you love sweet and simple cherries then you’re sure to love our cherry gelato. Come on in before it’s gone.

When we make this whiskey and chocolate as a fine Italian ice cream we can’t seem to make enough. We like to try different whiskeys so this batch we used Markers Mark® to create our cioccolato whisky gelato. It’s quite delicious and indulgently decadent.
